Cinnamon Life in association with HSBC Premier hosted an evening with famous wildlife photographers & authors, Jonathan & Angela Scott on the 7th of July hosted at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, The Atrium.
Let me begin by saying that this was a wonderful opportunity for all wildlife enthusiasts and photographers across the island. Sri Lanka has one of the highest rates of biological endemism in the world. This brought about more attention towards nature and the wild life in Sri Lanka, that needs to be explored and appreciated, most importantly preserved.
This special occasion with a 5 course dinner was in celebration of the launch of Jonathan’s highly anticipated autobiography ‘The Big Cat Man’.
The private event started off with the cocktails and mingling with the other participants. As always, the decor and the table setting was sumptuous with such elegance. With the introduction of the two legends, both Jonathan and Angela Scott, they bestowed a video presentation on screen displaying some of their finest pieces of work and sharing life adventures amongst the crowd. It was simply breath-taking! Everyone gathered to witness the launch of the highly anticipated autobiography ‘The Big Cat Man’.
Each guest received a complimentary copy of the book ‘The Big Cat Man’, which they can get it personally autographed by Jonathan Scott.
I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful setting, delicious food and the great service that the Cinnamon team provided. We had received the glowing feedback from other guests too.
It was a successful event hosted by Cinnamon Life and HSBC. Once again, thank you for bringing about such events and making us be apart of something special. My heartfelt wishes to the couple, Jonathan and Angela Scott and that they would continue to keep doing what they love, capturing these astonishing moments and surprising the world.
